Fotine Sotiropoulos helps veterinary and innovation-driven healthcare brands turn clarity into traction through strategy-first marketing leadership. As Founder and Fractional CMO of Thavma Consulting, she partners with founders and executive teams to align brand, message, and go-to-market strategy so marketing doesn’t stall at ideas, but drives real momentum.
She’s often brought in at inflection points, when marketing looks busy but growth has stalled, or when teams are preparing to move from early traction to full market adoption.
With almost two decades of experience leading marketing strategy inside complex, high-growth organizations, Fotine has worked at the intersection of innovation, healthcare, and veterinary medicine. Her career spans global organizations and early-stage startups, where she has led positioning, product launches, customer journey design, and cross-functional alignment in environments where clarity is not optional, it’s a growth requirement.
Fotine brings a leadership lens to marketing, grounded in the belief that marketing is not a collection of tactics, but a strategic function that connects vision to execution. Her work is shaped by frameworks such as the Marketing Hourglass™ and Thavma’s strategy-first approach, paired with a deep ability to translate strategy into language veterinary teams recognize and trust. Dave Dieffenbach — Product & Innovation Strategist, Thavma VoiceWorks Partner
Dave Dieffenbach brings more than two decades of experience in product development, customer insights, and innovation strategy. With leadership roles at IDEXX, Covetrus, and across the animal health sector, Dave has built a reputation for translating complex ideas into solutions that resonate with real-world users.
His expertise lies in uncovering the voice of the customer and transforming those insights into products and strategies that drive adoption and growth.
Dave partners with Fotine through Thavma VoiceWorks, a first-of-its-kind service that gives veterinary startups and growth-stage companies direct access to the perspectives of veterinary professionals. Together, they ensure innovators gain the clarity, empathy, and evidence they need to succeed.
Dave and Fotine first teamed up at IDEXX, where they worked hand in hand on product development projects that demanded both rigor and creativity. What stood out then and continues to define their partnership now, is their relentless focus on the customer. Whether shaping features, refining workflows, or testing adoption in the field, they shared a belief that innovation only matters if it makes life better for the people using it.
That philosophy now drives their work together on Thavma VoiceWorks, helping companies translate bold ideas into solutions that truly fit veterinary practice.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys reading, running with his local run club, and spending time with family. He’s also a proud cat guy, sharing his home with five felines (and one very patient girlfriend).
Katharine (Kath) Capati, Business Operations
Kath Capati brings over a decade of experience in business operations, finance, and executive support across the tech and innovation sectors. She has a proven track record of designing and implementing systems that drive efficiency, accountability, and growth.
At Thavma, Kath oversees business operations—streamlining processes, supporting the team, and ensuring every project runs with precision. She thrives on creating order out of complexity, giving leaders the clarity and structure they need to focus on growth.
Before joining Thavma, Kath held key roles at LeanDev Inc. and Global Power Source Pte Ltd, where she led cross-functional projects, built scalable systems, and partnered closely with executives to align strategy with daily execution. Her expertise spans project management, process design, and people leadership—complemented by skills in digital marketing, web development, event planning, and even podcast production. This unique mix enables her to fuse operational excellence with creative execution.
Outside of work, Kath is a lifelong learner with a curious spirit, always seeking new knowledge and ways to grow both personally and professionally.
Anna Clarke, Account Manager
Anna Clarke is Thavma’s Account Manager, blending expertise in content strategy, SEO, and storytelling with a passion for building strong client relationships. With a background in writing and marketing across multiple industries, she knows how to take complex ideas and translate them into clear, compelling content that resonates with audiences and drives measurable results.
At Thavma, Anna partners closely with clients to ensure their strategy comes to life, managing projects end-to-end, keeping deliverables on track, and making sure every engagement runs smoothly.
