Fotine Sotiropoulos — Founder & Fractional CMO

Fotine Sotiropoulos helps veterinary and innovation-driven healthcare brands turn clarity into traction through strategy-first marketing leadership. As Founder and Fractional CMO of Thavma Consulting, she partners with founders and executive teams to align brand, message, and go-to-market strategy so marketing doesn’t stall at ideas, but drives real momentum.

She’s often brought in at inflection points, when marketing looks busy but growth has stalled, or when teams are preparing to move from early traction to full market adoption.

With almost two decades of experience leading marketing strategy inside complex, high-growth organizations, Fotine has worked at the intersection of innovation, healthcare, and veterinary medicine. Her career spans global organizations and early-stage startups, where she has led positioning, product launches, customer journey design, and cross-functional alignment in environments where clarity is not optional, it’s a growth requirement.

Fotine brings a leadership lens to marketing, grounded in the belief that marketing is not a collection of tactics, but a strategic function that connects vision to execution. Her work is shaped by frameworks such as the Marketing Hourglass™ and Thavma’s strategy-first approach, paired with a deep ability to translate strategy into language veterinary teams recognize and trust. Dr. Peter Brown, DVM - Veterinary Advisor & Clinical Contributor, Thavma VoiceWorks Advisory Network

Dr. Peter Brown is a seasoned veterinarian, founder, and clinical leader whose career spans more than 30 years in companion animal medicine. He began practicing at Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Clinic in 1991, where he and his partners built one of the most respected rural practices in the Pacific Northwest. That experience, deeply rooted in community, continuity of care, and hands-on clinical work, shaped his understanding of what veterinary teams truly need to thrive.

In 2018, Peter co-founded Cara Veterinary, driven by a vision to build a new model of veterinary care grounded in compassion and culture. Under his leadership, CARA has grown from a single clinic into a multi-location network serving pets, clients, and veterinary teams across the region. His work has spanned medical leadership, hospital operations, team development, and organizational growth, always anchored in elevating the well-being of teams and the standards of care.

Peter and Fotine previously collaborated on veterinary education projects, where his clarity, grounded clinical perspective, and commitment to the profession stood out. Those conversations ultimately shaped the direction of Thavma’s educational work and informed the development of the VoiceWorks approach.

At Thavma, Peter now serves as a strategic advisor, bringing his clinical and operational experience into early-stage strategy, product development, and message clarity.

He also contributes to the Thavma VoiceWorks Advisory Network, offering balanced, real-world perspective that helps founders build solutions aligned with actual clinical workflows, team needs, and the realities of veterinary practice.

Known for his warmth, honesty, and practical wisdom, Peter brings lived experience, not theory, to every conversation.

Dave Dieffenbach - Product & Innovation Strategist, Thavma VoiceWorks Partner

Dave Dieffenbach brings more than two decades of experience in product development, customer insights, and innovation strategy. With leadership roles at IDEXX, Covetrus, and across the animal health sector, Dave has built a reputation for translating complex ideas into solutions that resonate with real-world users.

His expertise lies in uncovering the voice of the customer and transforming those insights into products and strategies that drive adoption and growth.

Dave partners with Fotine through Thavma VoiceWorks, a first-of-its-kind service that gives veterinary startups and growth-stage companies direct access to the perspectives of veterinary professionals. Together, they ensure innovators gain the clarity, empathy, and evidence they need to succeed.

Dave and Fotine first teamed up at IDEXX, where they worked hand in hand on product development projects that demanded both rigor and creativity. What stood out then and continues to define their partnership now, is their relentless focus on the customer. Whether shaping features, refining workflows, or testing adoption in the field, they shared a belief that innovation only matters if it makes life better for the people using it.

That philosophy now drives their work together on Thavma VoiceWorks, helping companies translate bold ideas into solutions that truly fit veterinary practice.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys reading, running with his local run club, and spending time with family. He’s also a proud cat guy, sharing his home with five felines (and one very patient girlfriend).

Katharine (Kath) Capati - Business Operations

Kath Capati supports the operational foundation of Thavma Consulting, helping ensure the systems, workflows, and internal coordination behind each engagement are clear, reliable, and built to sustain focus and execution. With more than a decade of experience across business operations, finance, and executive support, she brings a steady, structured approach to complex, fast-moving environments.

At Thavma, Kath supports business operations by strengthening internal workflows, supporting the team, and reinforcing the operational discipline required for consistent, high-quality delivery. Her work focuses on building and maintaining the systems that allow strategic initiatives to move forward smoothly, reducing friction and enabling leaders and client teams to stay focused on growth.

Before joining Thavma, Kath held key roles at LeanDev Inc. and Global Power Source Pte Ltd, where she partnered closely with executive teams, led cross-functional initiatives, and helped design scalable systems that aligned strategy with day-to-day execution. Her experience spans project management, process design, and people leadership, complemented by hands-on work in digital marketing, web development, event planning, and podcast production.

Kath brings a calm, systems-minded perspective to her work, helping ensure Thavma’s internal operations remain coordinated, resilient, and well supported. Her contribution strengthens the foundation that allows strategic work to be delivered with clarity and consistency.

Anna Clarke - Account Manager

Anna Clarke supports Thavma Consulting’s client engagements by ensuring strategy translates into consistent, high-quality execution across content, SEO, and ongoing delivery. As Account Manager, she works closely with clients and the internal team to keep projects moving forward with clarity, organization, and attention to detail, so momentum doesn’t get lost between strategy and execution.

With a background in content strategy, SEO, and professional writing across multiple industries, Anna brings a strong ability to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with the right audience. Her work helps ensure that client messaging is not only well written, but strategically aligned, searchable, and built to support long-term visibility and trust.

At Thavma, Anna manages day-to-day project flow across engagements, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication so clients experience a smooth, focused process. Ryli Malone - Strategic Operations & Founder Project Support

She plays a key role in keeping client engagements organized, focused, and moving forward with intention.

With a background in small business operations and systems consulting, Ryli brings a structured, detail-oriented approach to complex work. Her experience as a business co-founder informs her ability to build internal systems, improve workflows, and support disciplined execution across Thavma engagements. Her work centers on reducing friction and creating clarity so teams can operate more confidently and effectively.

Ryli is a Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) through the Project Management Institute, reflecting her strength in adaptive planning, cross-functional collaboration, and progress-driven execution. She approaches projects with a balance of structure and flexibility, ensuring strategy is supported by systems teams can rely on.
